DESIGN ENGINEER
PDQ Workholding, LLC seeks a Design Engineer at its manufacturing plant located in Columbia City, Indiana, 46725. Duties include: Interpreting supplied information to determine efficient ways to hold parts for machining; Creating complete designs for work holding devices in SolidWorks; Providing technical support on the shop floor; Troubleshooting and solving fixture issues presented by end users; and Designing fixture hydraulic systems to properly clamp fixture designs.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or design engineering and be willing to travel to both customers and suppliers as may be required on occasion (all travel within same business day).
